You did a nice job with combining your new vocabulary, your knowledge of mythology, and your zest for the extraordinary. The ominous tone mixed with the fantastical was fun to read, as was your imaginative spin on names and places. Had we more time, I would have liked to see a bit more detail on the battle with the Nekros and your hero's voyage into the unknown, or at least a bit more resolution to the relationship between his disappearance and the salvation of his land and people.
Nice job on the visual images! It was an enjoyable, albeit brief, story.
